Brahmacharini Sri Sri Sadhana Devi
Brahmacharini Sri Sri Sadhana Devi was a devoted disciple and the most trusted companion of Sri Sri Babamoni. Born to Dr. Nagesh Brahmachary and Smt. Kadambini Devi, she became a disciple at the age of six and helped carry His teachings outward. Devotees know her as Ashram Mata.
Character Building Movement
She led the morality campaigns begun by Sri Sri Babamoni in 1914 and called people toward a life of righteousness.
Nari Mangal Shilpa Mandir
Through this work she helped women, including young widows, become self-reliant and find a purpose in life.
Pratidhwani
She was editor-in-chief of Pratidhwani, the monthly magazine published from Ayachak Ashrama, Varanasi.
Freedom movement
She was a freedom fighter and a gifted orator, writer, and social reformer. She served as Eternal President of Nikhil Bharat Akhanda Mandali, Chairman of Ayachak Ashrama, and a founder member of The Multiversity. She passed away on 26 May 1993.
