The Multiversity

The Multiversity, established in 1973–74 by Akhandamandaleswar Sri Srimat Swami Swarupananda Paramhansa Dev, is a registered society. It is an educational institute dedicated to uplifting the socio-economic conditions of people in rural areas. Located in Pupunki, a remote village in Jharkhand, it was founded on character building, morality, and self-reliance.

The Multiversity provides free education and hostel facilities at minimal cost to students from neighbouring villages, from Jharkhand, and from nearby states.

• Free education

  Schooling is offered without fees to students who come to Pupunki.

• Hostel

  Boarding is kept at minimal cost so village students can stay and study.

• Community

  Seminars, local meetings, and picture exhibitions carry the work into the villages.

• Agriculture

  Seeds and saplings are distributed to encourage agriculture and floriculture.

• Learn to earn, earn to learn

  Study and livelihood are taught as one movement.

• Each for all, all for each

  Aviksha, non-begging, is the motto. Service is done without begging.
